2010 OHA Safety Award
University Hospitals Receives Award for Superior Safety
University Hospitals Health System is the recipient of a 2010 Ohio Hospital Safety Campaign Award. The campaign recognized UH for safety records that placed it in the top 20 percent of 80 participating hospitals. UH is the only Ohio system in its category (4,000 plus employees) to receive the award.
Hospitals chosen for a 2010 Ohio Hospital Safety Campaign Award are selected for successful safety programs and superior employee safety records.
The Ohio Hospital Association and the Industrial Commission of Ohio created the Ohio Hospital Safety Campaign in 1953 to promote workplace safety.
